Where do you teach?
Fraser Heights Secondary in Surrey.
How long have you been teaching?
Seems like forever, but is closer to 20 years.
Why did you become a teacher?
Court mandated community hours.
What do you like best about teaching?
The look in a student’s eye when you see that they ‘get it’.
What do you dislike?
I dislike administrivia.
Tell us about a funny thing that happened in class...
I was joking with some kids, and they learned.

How did you spend the summer?
Bought a house in Vegas, and got my motorcycle license. Seriously.
Are you involved in Science outside of the classroom?
I have co-written several science texts (as well as some secret science
experiments best not mentioned),
What would be if you weren’t a teacher?
If I wasn't a science teacher, I would be an actor. Seriously.
Have you ever bungee-jumped?
No (I wish to keep my retinas attached) but I have cart wheeled onto a water bed!
What do you do when you’re not teaching science?
Sports, mostly, and chasing unicorns.

A young Jeff Goldblum.
