What is your favourite thing about teaching science?
Working with kids , inspiring kids to study science. Doing demos, labs, sharing my passion etc . So many things that are enjoyable! Oh yeah and the key to the chemical storage cupboard!
The best advice I'd give a new science teacher would be...
Don't be afraid to labs and practicals even if they fail or you have never done them before.
