Just wondering if anyone received their Valentine's present from Lionel & moi...? I know a new BC Physics11 textbook isn't a box of chocolates - but it's better than a card:)What do you think of the latest & greatest from Sandner/Gore...?DonSee More

Hi Don:

Yes, I am at the Jackson campus and I would appreciate a copy. I have viewed the Physics 11 online and it parallels what I am currently doing with Gore's Physics One, supplemented with open source content on the thin sections. I will probably be looking at replacement once my Physics One texts wear out.

Sincerely,

Alex Seal

Don,

I saw the last email and forwarded it on to Harpal as he has the Chemistry classes this semester.

What subject is the beta ebook for?  We have collaboration time tomorrow so I can run it by the department then....

Don,

That is odd. I replied to your original request indicating that "yes we would be involved". Our workshop "Build-A-Bot" would be on the record. Did you have another idea as well?

Also, there is the possibility we would pilot the mole unit, but i think we have 31 students in our chem 11 class. It would be difficult to pilot the unit with only a portion of our students. Is this the expectation of the authors?

Let me know details soon as we will need to be preparing early in september for the workshop.
