GeoScience Professional Organizations

Here are two professional geoscience organizations to which I have belonged for a number of years that are really useful for geoscience educators.

The Geological Association of Canada (GAC) has a membership category for teachers at the incredible low rate of $10.00 per year. Check their website – http://www.gac.ca/

The Canadian Geoscience Education Network (CGEN) is a loose network of educators and outreach presenters that under their secretary Christy Vodden is a goldmine of events and activities going on across Canada.
